Spring Again

The honeysuckle is blooming

Again

Sweetness has filled the air.

Crocuses peep out of the grass

Again

The willow has bees in her hair.

The sparrow sings in the tree

Again

The tulips rise up from their rest.

The rabbit plays in the garden

Again

Miss Maple has a new green dress.

Even storms boom out their songs

Again

Rain plays the snare on the roof.

Thunder pounds the bass in the sky

Again

Then a rainbow signals a truce.

Crickets are chirping at dusk

Again

Mother doe nuzzles her fawn.

The robin is making her nest

Again

And sings to the sun at dawn.

How wonderful it is to meet Spring

Again

Drink it in before it’s gone.
